EtherLynx PRO Camera Location for NASCAR at Daytona

FinishLynx made its official NASCAR debut at the Daytona 500 in the spring of 2005.

To ensure total coverage of the Pit Lane and the actual Finish Line, as well as the legal finish area between them on the infield, two cameras were set up at the same location just inside the pit lane facing outwards towards the Stands. By using different lenses to adjust the field of view of the Primary and secondary cameras, it was possible to obtain total coverage, and high resolution. See below for sample images and camera details.

In addition, a third camera was mounted at the exit to Pit Lane to confirm the order in which cars left the pits.
