Cyberscoreboard is a live results database platform that helps timers publish real-time FinishLynx results to the internet. CyberScoreboard helps transform standard .LIF files (results files produced by FinishLynx) into database-compatible online results.  When Cyberscoreboard was first released in the late 1990s, there was nothing like it on the market. For the first time, it gave sports timers (of any size) the ability to quickly publish their race results (in real time), live to the internet. At that time, internet connections were slow and unreliable, so CyberScoreboard relied on basic text-based html to keep results files small and simple. CyberScoreboard is the precursor to many modern race results platforms today and used by our timing partner, Flash Results.
